Solo Magic is a multidisciplinary platform committed to amplifying Black stories, expanding artistic possibilities, and transforming community through culture. We support multifaceted works that deepen community conversations, invite the public into atypical performance experiences across traditional and non-traditional spaces, and spark a renewed awakening of art and its relationship to social movements. Through projects such as Keeper of Sadness, the Radical Black Femme Project, Black Arts TV, Black Like Me: An Exploration of the Word Nigger, and the operatic film Into the Garden of Sonder, Solo Magic collaborates with innovative artists from around the world to manifest the magic that emerges when individual action meets collective change. Our work centers Black interiority, ancestral wisdom, and the power of story as a catalyst for liberation, healing, and cultural imagination.

Radical Black Femme Project

The Radical Black Femme Project (RBFP) is a digital and hybrid residency founded and curated by Solo Magic to provide a platform and shelter to build resources and solidarity in a community often pushed aside. RBFP supports creative work in the realm of resisting racism, subverting transphobia, and supporting justice, safety, and equity with an emphasis on counter culture conversations. RBFP is a residency with a global focus aimed at providing femme creatives with the ability to incubate in their own process. Creatives are selected through invitation only submissions curated by Solo Magic
